Our Artistic Director, Mi-Jeong Lee, has been invited with her project to participate in the Producer Hub at the Asian Content & Film Market during the 30th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF).

This opportunity will allow her to pitch her documentary in development, "2.8. ChungChun: Always Twilight in Your Cell" (청삼의 빛), a Canada-Korea co-production based on the life journeys of four women. Honorably the project will be mentored by IM Heung-Soon (Silver Lion winner, 2015 Venice Biennale).

This marks Mi-Jeong's return to filmmaking after focusing on the growth of our Arts East-West: Korean Film Festival Canada (13th edition in 2026) and Asian Art Publication Lab, our Montreal-based research-creation laboratory bridging East-West perspectives through critical dialogue. With our artist-driven organization's vision, we continue connecting our artists to local, national, and global communities!
