MI-JEONG LEE
Directrice artistique et exécutive

Mi-Jeong Lee est la fondatrice et la directrice artistique de Arts East-West/Korean Film Festival Canada. Artiste indépendante et spécialiste du cinéma, des médias et des arts visuels asiatiques, elle est également titulaire d'un doctorat en études et pratiques artistiques de la Faculté des arts de l'Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). Lee enseigne les arts visuels et médiatiques coréens à l'Université de Montréal. Ses recherches récentes portent sur les arts coréens, les arts de la diaspora asiatique canadienne, ainsi que sur les droits des femmes, le travail, le corps et l'environnement dans une perspective d'esthétique et de philosophie du cinéma.

YUNA CHOI

Née et élevée en Corée, Yuna a développé une profonde fascination pour le cinéma dès son plus jeune âge - un intérêt qui s'est transformé en une passion pour le jeu d'acteur et les festivals de cinéma au fil des ans. Elle a déménagé au Canada en 2024 et est actuellement basée à Séoul pour terminer son baccalauréat en médias et divertissement à l'Université Sogang. Yuna s'est jointe à Arts Est-Ouest à titre de stagiaire adjointe à la coordination au printemps 2025.
